Relationship Counselling, Individual and Couple Psychotherapy in English and in French
Problems with communication and relationships are often what bring people to therapy. Talking with a professionally trained “outsider” about what happens “inside” the relationship can help to clarify mixed feelings, find a balance between being together and feeling separate, and establish the right emotional distance between you and others.
In my work with individuals and couples, I focus on everyday interactions and conflicts, recurrent behaviour patterns, and the links to the past which help to understand them. Together we observe the conscious dynamics at play and listen carefully for the less conscious material which might emerge and enable you to move on.
Finding your place in relation to others - partners, parents, children, friends, colleagues - will help you to deal with family and/or work problems, and find meaning in what you do.
Weekly sessions take place in a safe, caring and confidential environment, where mutual trust allows words to be spoken and fears, often hidden, to be overcome. Expressing thoughts and feelings that are difficult to share in another setting can provide relief, understanding, and enable change.
I am bilingual and work in English and in French.
My consulting room is based in Hatton Garden. It is approximately 5 minutes walk from Farringdon and Chancery Lane tube stations and is within easy reach of Holborn, City, Angel, Islington, Clerkenwell, Old Street, Liverpool Street, Shoreditch, Dalston, Smithfield and Barbican.
